Homemade Croissant

Ingredients:

  1. 2 cups of flour
  2. ¼ Cup of Illovo sugar
  3. ½ teaspoon of salt
  4. 2¼ teaspoon of yeast
  5. ½ cup of warm milk
  6. ¼ Cup of softened butter
  7. 1 egg

Instructions:

  • In a bowl, combine 2 cups of flour, 1/4 cup of Illovo Sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 2 1/4 teaspoons of yeast.
  • Mix in 1/2 cup of warm milk, 1/4 cup of softened butter, and 1 beaten egg. Knead the dough, let it rise for 1 hour. Roll out the dough, spread softened butter, and fold into layers.
  • Cut into triangles, roll them up, and shape into croissants.
  • Let them rise for 30 minutes, brush with beaten egg.
  • Bake at 375°F for 15-20 minutes until golden.
  • Enjoy flaky, homemade croissants!
