Ingredients:
- 2 cups of flour
- ¼ Cup of Illovo sugar
- ½ teaspoon of salt
- 2¼ teaspoon of yeast
- ½ cup of warm milk
- ¼ Cup of softened butter
- 1 egg
Instructions:
- In a bowl, combine 2 cups of flour, 1/4 cup of Illovo Sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 2 1/4 teaspoons of yeast.
- Mix in 1/2 cup of warm milk, 1/4 cup of softened butter, and 1 beaten egg. Knead the dough, let it rise for 1 hour. Roll out the dough, spread softened butter, and fold into layers.
- Cut into triangles, roll them up, and shape into croissants.
- Let them rise for 30 minutes, brush with beaten egg.
- Bake at 375°F for 15-20 minutes until golden.
